  Internet Banking allows you to view transactions, account balances, issue stop payments, transfer funds between accounts, and set up balance and deposit alerts and reminders as well as download transaction information into Microsoft Money, Quicken®, Quickbooks, or a spreadsheet.

  Yes, account details can be downloaded to Quicken®, Microsoft® Money, and QuickBooks®.

Online Bill Pay

• How does Online Bill Pay work?

  With Online Bill Pay, you can pay your bills electronically, set up future and repeat payments, and check the status of your payments from your computer at any time. Payments are made electronically whenever possible. If the merchant you are paying does not accept electronic payments, a paper check is automatically prepared and mailed to them.

• How do I sign up for Online Bill Pay?

  To use this service, you must have a deposit account through National Bank Of Kansas City. You can sign-up for bill pay within the Internet Banking portal, at any branch, or by calling (913) 253-0170.

• Are there any businesses/individuals that I can't pay via Online Bill Pay?

  At the present time, the only institutions you can't pay online are those that are court ordered and go to a payment center (i.e. alimony or child support).

• Do you have a demo of your bill pay system?

  Yes. Our demo allows you to click around the entire bill pay system. In addition, we have a step-by-step guide.

• Who do I call with questions?

Security & Technical

• How secure is my financial information?

  Our site is very secure. We've added Multi-Factor Authentication for your added security when logging in to Internet Banking.

• Why is security so important?

  While the chances of identity theft or monetary loss are slim, there are malicious entities on the Internet trying to trick people into providing their financial information. One of the most popular methods is by impersonating individuals during the log in process. Multi-Factor Authentication makes the process difficult.

• How does Multi-Factor Authentication change the log in process?

  Upon your first log in, you will be asked to:

  1. Enter your Username, PIN, and a random code that will appear on your screen.
  2. Read and either accept or reject the Internet Banking disclosure.
  3. Set up three security questions/answers by creating your own or by answering the provided standard questions.
  4. Enter a Security Key

  
  
• What is the random code?

  The random code is an extra security measure used to eliminate fraudsters from randomly selecting account numbers. It is randomly generated each time you log in.

• What is the Security Key image?

  The Security Key image helps you identify our Internet Banking as legitimate. You are required to type in a text word or phrase during your first log in. This word or phrase will appear on subsequent log ins. Please pick a unique set of characters or words and never enter any PINs or passwords.

• Can I change my questions and/or my security key image?

  Yes. Once you log in to your account, you can change your questions and/or the security key image under the Customer Service tab.

• Can I change my PIN?

  Yes, you can change your PIN under the Customer Service tab.

• What if I forget my PIN?

  Click the 'Forgot Your PIN' link on the first Login page.

• If I open additional accounts with NBKC will they be added to my Internet Banking account?

  You will need to ask your Customer Service Representative to add your new account.

• Can I use AOL to access my account?

  Yes. Your AOL Internet browser must have 128-bit encryption.

• Can I transfer funds online between NBKC and an account at another financial institution?

  Yes. Our Internet Banking Software will allow you to transfer money between two financial institutions.
